Today, AtHand Solutions released a major update to its Learning Management System (LMS). The release came as a complete LMS change to those still running the 3.x version of the LMS and as an enhanced update for those running previous 4.x versions.
AtHand Solutions is the creator and provider of the Learning Management System that powers its own AtHand Learning System, the Dell Learning System and online hosted portals at Learningitnow.com, AtHandServices.com and the soon to be launched LearnLocker.com.
The 4.2 update ads “multi-mode authentication” support for multiple LDAP connections, “time tracking”, and enhanced container controls.
According to Jeff Roth, Director of Development with AtHand Solutions, "This has been a major undertaking to prepare a complete upgrade path for those previously running our 3.x LMS and adding several enhancements that have been highly requested by our customers. Bringing everyone up to the same version will both improve the customer experience and streamline our version support systems".
